We write commercial auto.
That's the whole agency.

Most insurance agencies do a little of everything — home, life, a side of commercial. We don't. We're a Flemington, New Jersey shop that lives in commercial auto: work trucks, service vans, and fleets for the businesses that drive this state. It's all we do, every day, and it's why we're good at it.

Why a commercial-auto-only agency

Commercial auto is its own world. The carriers are different, the underwriting is different, the certificate requirements are different, and the ways a business gets burned are very specific. A generalist agent who writes two commercial auto policies a month can't know it the way someone who writes it all day does — which carrier likes which class, how NJ PIP attaches on a commercial policy, when a personal-lines exclusion is about to void a claim.

We made a decision early: go an inch wide and a mile deep. By focusing entirely on New Jersey commercial auto, we built carrier relationships, underwriting know-how, and a sense for NJ's roads and territories that a do-everything agency simply can't match. When a Hunterdon contractor or a Newark delivery operator calls, we already know the playbook.

Independent, and on your side

We're an independent agency, not a captive carrier. That means we don't work for one insurance company trying to sell you their product — we shop your risk across a panel of A-rated carriers and bring you options. The carrier that's best for a single-van plumber isn't the one that's best for a six-truck distributor, and being independent lets us place each where it belongs.

What that means for you: one phone call gets your risk in front of multiple carriers. You see real options, we explain the trade-offs, and you pick. No pressure, no single-carrier tunnel vision.

Rooted in Flemington, working all of NJ

Our office is on Route 31 in Flemington, in the heart of Hunterdon County. We insure the trucks and vans working out of Clinton, Lambertville, Whitehouse Station, and the surrounding towns — and from that home base we write all 21 New Jersey counties. Being genuinely local means same-day certificates, in-person conversations when you want them, and an agent who actually knows Route 78 from Route 31.

Jeff Friedlander

Managing Member, Evolutionary Agency Concepts, LLC

Jeff Friedlander has been placing insurance for New Jersey businesses since 1987 — nearly forty years of it, most of that spent on the commercial side.

Commercial vehicles aren’t a sideline in his book. That’s why he knows which carrier will look at a Newark-garaged box truck, which one won’t touch a fleet with two at-fault losses, and which one will quote a contractor with a difficult mod.

He holds the Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation and a workers-comp designation, and he has written two books on business insurance — because the same questions kept repeating. Business owners were signing contracts with insurance requirements nobody had explained, buying policies with exclusions nobody had pointed out, and finding out at claim time.

He works out of the Flemington office, he personally reviews the commercial auto submissions that come through this site, and he still takes the calls.

Licensed, bonded, and accountable

Coverage is placed through Evolutionary Agency Concepts, LLC, licensed by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance under producer license #3000700471 (NPN 19329968), and we carry our own errors-and-omissions coverage. When you hand us your business, you're working with a credentialed NJ agency that's accountable for the advice it gives — not an anonymous quote engine.

Literally — twice. Written because the same fifty questions kept coming up, and the answers were worth writing down properly.
